This month I am participating in a 30 Day Prayer Challenge and today’s assignment is to pray for your enemies. Ooooohhh! In all honesty, I try very hard NOT to have enemies. I love the verse in Romans that encourages us to live at peace with everyone. Doesn’t it bother you when others are upset with you? It got me thinking of intention and how we never intend to make enemies; in fact sometimes we can anger others with our best intentions.
My intentions this year have me excited! I intend to continue to blog as God leads me, grow my website to add a cute shop and get back to traveling more. What I am learning is that while making these fun plans, we have to hold them loosely as life often changes. Sometimes for the better, in a way we could never imagine and sometimes for the worse, again, in a way we could never imagine. However, if we learn to seek God in both set of journeys, He will eventually take us to a place that shows us the “why”. If your plans go south (unintentionally), I promise His plan out-navigated yours to protect you; either from current hurts or future hurts you could never see.
As for me, I am going to keep BLAZING this amazing trail that I believe God has gifted to me. It was a trail I never saw coming and honestly, a trail I would not have chosen had my life stayed “normal”. It is time to embrace the abnormal and trust that God knows what He is doing. My sincere hope is you will join me on a trail blazing experience of your own! We can do BIG things!
