Don’t you love the times in your life when blessings flow freely?! Especially after hard times when it is difficult to see all the goodness surrounding us. The gifts and joyful times in our lives always seem sweeter when we have had to work incredibly hard. It is the long awaited and beautiful exhale; and recently I got to share a few of these moments with friends.
This week our Home Bible Studies finished up Bob Goff’s “Everybody Always”. It was an inspiring winter season of loving those who creep us out or have hurt us. Embarking on this process of loving those who are hard to love is much easier when you have a group of friends to encourage and cheer you on to keep going; even when you might not want to or feel like giving up on “those” people. I love each of the ladies who were on this journey with me over the past five weeks. Thank you for you amazing gift of friendship!
Rounding out the week was my first gathering to display and sell products from my Nancy Deanne shop. The number of ladies who stopped by, shopped, texted and emailed encouragement for the event blew me away. Each of you are a true blessing in my life! This weekend, may I challenge you to think of those in your life who are rooting for you and shoot them a text or email to let them know how much their support means to you. Even better, invite them to get together and celebrate your friendship!
