Create

Just the word “create” makes me happy! You? The start of something new, fresh, fun and exciting – I love it all. This month our Bible Study is studying the rhythm of create in Rhythms of Renewal by Rebekah Lyons. She writes, “it begins with a dream, and when we tap into our dreams, when we walk forward in them, God gives us renewed meaning and purpose. Knowing God’s meaning and purpose for our lives frees us from stress and anxiety.” Creating is one of the great ways I know to keep my mind healthy and off the negativity which surrounds us these days (adopting a puppy is another way – but you do not get much sleep!).

I believe God designed us all to create, and further, that our creations will inspire those around us. It has been a joy to watch a handful of beautiful ladies in my neighborhood and family not only create, but take the bold step of sharing their creations to bring joy, fun and beauty to others (see below)! Currently, I am in my shop (at home) putting the finishing touches on my bubble bath bar creation that will be available at the end of June 2020 – whoo hooo!

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend and carve out time to create! Whether it’s a memory with a loved one or something with your hands. Make it and celebrate (and post a photo!)
