Well, here we are again – week 3 of quarantine. Not sure how you are feeling; I’ve gone through denial, total bummerness (my word) and now I am feeling the need to embrace this time. A beautiful weekend of Easter is upon us and now more than ever our perspective is so important. Our discomfort pales in comparison to all He sacrificed for us.
I hope you will join me today in giving thanks for our great life; because we are so blessed to be alive. Giving thanks for a home and food; because there are so many families wondering where their next meal will come from. Giving thanks if you are quarantined with a family member (or two, or more!); because so many are losing loved ones. Let us not take any of these simple, yet amazing, things for granted.
Today, let’s choose to fill our mind with love, joy, peace, patience and kindness. May I inspire you to start jotting down all of the little (or big) things you are thankful for and/or that bring you joy!, read the story of Easter (see verses below) and meditate to keep your mind clear and healthy. My hope is that we will look back on this time and be proud that we embraced the chaos and chose to rise above – for He has risen indeed!

Verse: Luke 24:6-7 (GNT) – He is not here; He has been raised. Remember what He said to you while He was in Galiliee: “The Son of Man must be handed over to sinners, be crucified, and three days later rise to life”. (Full story – Luke 24: 1-12).
