Are you ready for “dreamy” again? After feeling like I have been on pause for too long, I am ready! Recently at a marriage counseling appointment, Mike and I were encouraged to make a 100 Item Bucket List. Talk about awesome and overwhelming at the same time! We had two weeks and I am proud to say we both got ours done.
While writing out my list of fun adventures I realized it has been quite some time since I have sat down to dream strategically and without abandon. It is so therapeutic and inspiring. On the flip side, it revealed the amount of work needed to be dreamy. Therapy, prayer, pure intention, forgiveness, planning – it is hard work. Once we achieve the dream; often times the work begins (ie – bought the dream home, now to maintain it and keep it beautiful!). Other times, it is a simple “check the box”, cherish the memory and onto the next item.
My goal for 2021 is to check at least 5 items off the bucket list! I hope you feel inspired to start dreaming, creating or adding to your bucket list too. Here are some great challenges/books/journals to get you started:
