Happy Thanksgiving my friends! As we continue to navigate this year, especially this year, being thankful can become a challenge. There is a lot of uncertainty, loss, sickness and loneliness. I also feel compelled to look at the all of the answered prayers, healing and joy this year. Don’t you feel joy in the midst of sadness can often be the deepest joy we feel? In honor of finding gratitude, I have listed below a few top things I am most thankful for this year-
Marriage – COVID pushed the marriage reconciliation plan into warp speed and it resulted in so much healing and health.
Kids – learning to trust God with my girls went to a whole new level this year. Praying for their health, safety, success in academics while all on-line and their friendships allowed me so much time with God!
Friendships – my prayers for my friends increased exponentially! Zoom happy hours, book clubs and creative ways to stay connected have been unique and fun.
Business – even through the pandemic, my little shop has sold more than ever. Thank you for all of your support! The Sip & Shop Event on Dec 1st is almost full – there are 5 spots left. If you would like the invitation emailed to you, feel free to email me at: heynancy@nancydeanne.com.
As we head into 2021, I am no longer looking to a new year to set goals. My goals and bucket lists are done. I am sure things will come up that will require us to pivot, re-focus or change course. Focusing on finding gratitude and connecting with my beautiful Source and Creator, God, will continue to be my daily practice. Hoping you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and pray you find joy and gratitude in each day.
