Happy Saturday my friends! Another strange week in the books and I am still wrapping my head around the face masks. How are we supposed to smile at each other? It is one of my favorite ways to connect and let someone know, “I see you”. Anyways, the thing that has been bothering me the most is the many comments from the media and bloggers that things will never be normal again. It has been on my mind and I hope you will join me in saying a big “no thank-you” and not buy into this statement.

If you enjoyed your life and was thriving prior to the onset of this virus; then who is to tell you that you cannot return to that lifestyle (or currently, safely, live it out now)? If you find there were parts of your life that needed changing; I hope this odd time has given you the opportunity to see things a bit more clearly and adjust. The bottom line is YOU get to decide what your normal is – no one else can tell you otherwise (unless you let them).

As we move into the late spring/early summer months, I am looking forward to spending more time outdoors and sprucing up my courtyard. As we celebrate Earth & Arbor Days in April, it is the perfect time to make our surroundings beautiful. Hope you are able to get out and do the things you love around your home as well. Stay normal (or as normal as possible – HA!).
