Morning routines are all the buzz these days! Honestly, I do not prefer mornings and have never enjoyed waking up early. There is nothing refreshing about it for me. A couple of weeks ago, I started a new book that hit on creating an evening routine to help with letting worries of the current day go and welcoming a great night’s sleep. The book included the following quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”
This is the goal of my evening routine – to look back and see the good in each day and leave behind that which did not serve me well. Learn to be more kind, loving and patient. Quickly forgive others and remember to ask forgiveness when I have hurt someone. Each day is a gift and too precious to allow it to be tainted by that which is washable! So if you have a wonderful morning routine – that is GREAT! If mornings aren’t your thing – I invite you to join me in creating an evening routine that fills you.

Hooray for the night owls! I’ve never been a morning person, but it comes with the territory of being a mom. Love this post and love you for the positivity and vulnerability in which you lead. 💕
