Here we are – almost June – the strangest time in recent history. Summer 2020 is a mystery and there are some days that my mental health is also a mystery (HA!). There have been a few days the uncertainty has brought me down and I just had to chuck the day and give myself a little grace. Other days I find the gratitude in this shift of life and the gift of having more time with family and friends.
If you are killing it during quarantine – big props to you! I hope your days continue to be filled with joy and purpose. If you are sailing in my boat, then can I encourage you on the hard days, to love yourself enough to know when to call it a day and try again tomorrow?! There is so much courage and wisdom in knowing our limits and when to pause to heal and reflect on why we are feeling discouraged.
I am so thankful for the positive and uplifting on-line challenges, verses and videos available during this time. Below are a few of my favorites; I hope you find them helpful, as well as bring you joy and courage to continue to try to live your best life during this odd time. Hoping we can all break-through and come out stronger and with clarity of what matters most to us; not just during this dark time in history but in our whole future as well.

Overcoming Overwhelmed. This challenge begins on June 8th with Christine Caine – one of my favorites!
Verses:
2 Chronicles 15:7 (NIV) “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
Galations 6:9 (NIV) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Video:
A Pep Talk from Kid President – an oldie, but goodie and so sweet! Let’s get out there and try!

As always, appropriate for this morning as I received a prayer request for encouragement and peace today. I have sent the verses and video along (as well as shared them with my family).
Thanks Nancy!
